Program Description
Currently, ELTC has two speakers as part of its Lecture Series: Artistic Director Gayle Stahlhuth and Performer/Writer Michele LaRue. Both have been associated with ELTC since its founding, and have an understanding of American theater, history, and the history of American theater. Michele's specialties include Woman Suffrage and Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Gayle has lectured on a variety of topics including The Transindentalists, Women in the Civil War, and Broadway in the 1920s. Performance venues include high schools, universities, Borders and Barnes and Nobles Bookstores throughout the country, and the Chautauqua Circuit.
