Program Description

George Street Playhouse offers workshops and residencies for all grade levels, K-12. Integrating theater into classroom curriculum invites students to explore concepts, reenact history, role-play decision-making, and deepen understanding using visual, auditory, and kinesthetic skills. Students have shown increased confidence and overall communication skills subsequent to participation in drama. These are interactive classes that address Core Curriculum Content Standards. Each session is tailored to your school or classroom and taught by professional teaching artists.
