Program Description
A musical play that explores the immigrant experience, ethnic diversity, human rights and democratic values. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad, DEAR AMERICA offers a stunning overview of America in a series of short stories. In presenting the heartbeat of our nation through its people, their music and customs, DEAR AMERICA celebrates the richness of cultural diversity and the triumph of the human spirit. This show offers a celebration of American History Month (Feb), while touching on Black History (Feb), Women's History (Mar) and more. (Grades K-8.)
