A Few Steps in a Stranger's Shoes - Ineractive Theater for Life Skills
Presented by: The Theater Project, Union County College's Professional Theater Company
Program Description
Teens facing complex issues gravitate to forums where they can be heard. In this exciting example of the power of theater to transform and enlighten, teens watch actors move through role plays about situations the students themselves may be facing: peer pressure, bullying, parental conflict. They then have an opportunity to interact with the performers/characters to brainstorm, problem-solve, and find their own way to new awareness and better coping skills. Appropriate for middle and high school students as well as professional development workshops.
