Program Description

Metrovation Scholarship: This yearlong program offers a unique opportunity for 12 selected high school juniors to play a significant role in the life of Two River Theater Company, attend free quality productions, take workshops in various aspects of theater taught by professionals in their field, serve as assistants in any number of artistic positions, and to meet and work with other creative students from across Monmouth and Ocean Counties.


Educational Standards Addressed

Visual and Performing Arts STANDARD 1.1 (Aesthetics) All students will use aesthetic knowledge in the creation of and in response to dance, music, theater, and visual art; STANDARD 1.3 (Elements and Principles) All students will demonstrate an understanding of the elements and principles of dance, music, theater, and visual art; STANDARD 1.4 (Critique) All students will develop, apply and reflect upon knowledge of the process of critique.
