About the theatre

Dreamcatcher is a small professional theatre whose mission is to bring stories to life with an intimacy that allows artists and audiences to connect, stories that reflect our lives, relationships and our world today. Dreamcatcher has a core company of professional local actors who perform contemporary work that entertains and challenges, and has at its heart a belief in the essential goodness of people. Also central to our mission is the enrichment of young people's lives through theatre, both through hands-on experience and through educational programs. We seek to expose theatergoers and students to ideas and lives like and unlike their own, with the intention of awakening their imaginations and creating empathy for others.
