About the theatre

Pushcart Players is an innovative troupe of professional (Actors' Equity) theatre artists dedicated to bringing the joy of live theatre and arts education to young audiences throughout the school year. As an outreach touring company, Pushcart BRINGS programs TO schools and theatres, performing primarily during the school year. Evening and summer shows and workshops can be scheduled by special arrangement. All productions are fully mounted with lights, sound, sets, costumes and rich musical accompaniment, providing a delightful visual treat and an uplifting theatre experience for young and old alike. In addition to a selection of eight stage productions, Pushcart offers many workshops and residencies for students and teachers to amplify the theatre and arts in education experience. Pushcart programs speak to a broad range of students' needs and interests, from Grades Pre-K through 12, and are ADA accessible.
